Placement of Audio for 5.1 Surround

I've got some OTS shots I'm doing for an interview scene in a film. I'm wondering, should I keep all audio to the full center speaker, or when I'm OTS of the reporter, should I have HER dialogue more towards the back left speaker (so it gives us the sound as if we were litterally leaning over her shoulder), while the subject/interview is full center ... then switch for when we're OTS of him?

Would that be too unorthodox/confusing to do that, or should I just leave it all center speaker for dialogue?

I would keep dialog in the Center Front Speaker.

Maybe play around with keeping the dialog strong in the Front Center, and maybe send a bit of the the same dialog to the REAR LEFT speaker, see what comes out?

You must be carefull not to disorient your audience when placing surround sound.

Thanks,
