You newbies don't know PK Gillock and you old-timers might not remember him, but not too long ago there was a man who ran wild and free on DVXuser, 24 hours a day. He and his monkey minions (Bluespider, TC, Dakota, Antomic, and the guy with the Will Ferrell cowbell avatar, Terry maybe?) ...Anyway, they ruled the threads and waged a great war on the moderators. The threads were stuff of legends and a time of much rejoicing and photo manipulation. But, like sex and pizza, all good things must come to an apologetic end.

Now, after a break of one month, PK is back to say "hello" and to invite you to his newly revised website.

On the site you can find fake news articles, photography, and some videos. Check out the 1 hour mockumentary, When the Acorns Fell. It has killer squirrels, guns, dead drummers, french people, and a very young PK. (Before he got ugly.)

PK misses you, hopes you are all doing well, and he apologizes for writing in 3rd person.

The new layout looks great! Glad to have the third set of initials back on the site. Even if I have no dots, and you no longer display yours.

PK! PK! Welcome back, man. Plenty-o-time to enter the April DVXfest, btw. Probably no waffles in Thailand, but a 5 minute mystery with some breakfast food--c'mon!

Barry, Thailand does have waffles, but I'm fresh out of ideas. Wait, here's a mystery for you, ...What happened to DVXuser? The site gets more visitors, but (as we all know) "box office receipts" doesn't mean the movie is worth watching. :) This place is like New Coke or sugar-free donuts. :) Seriously, what happened?
 
Ouch. The introduction of the HVX200 has been a very hot topic, but do you mean the Cafe? We're still getting what seems like a reasonable amount of traffic in most of the forums, but the cafe is more subdued than usual. It's spring and maybe folks are spending less time on the computer--hopefully they're spending less time. :happy: We have had an influx of new members--and that changes the character of the board a bit. But underneath it all, we're still the same board you used to love--that is, until you dropped us like a rotten mango.

I dont care if I WAS treated like a rotten mango (or two in my case, heh!), I'M GLAD PK IS BACK!!!!!! Where's my hug? (And honorable mention in the list of people you missed?) Yea!!! You're back!

Or are you just referring to the facelift? Remember, Jarred totally revised the whole board software here a few weeks ago, maybe PK left before the facelift?

Yes, I believe he did leave jsut prior to the "new and improved". He is just going through site-shock, as did the rest of us. He will be turned, though, rest assured. bwahaha!!!!!
 
Elvis - Thanks. Antomic is around. We keep in touch via e-mail. Last I heard he's in pre-production on a "film" project and working long hours.

Thartley - You were definitely missed. I still got your DVXfest entry on my harddrive. Will you accept a virtual hug? :)

Barry Green - Hey Barry, thanks again for the great book and DVD (like you've never heard that before). Nope, I was here for the big site change. Remember I was the jerk who complained (not about the upgrade - which is GREAT) but about the timing of the switch, because it was during the last day of DVXfest voting, March 6th-7th. I'm referring to the personality/character change of the site. It's like a shell of it's former self (entertainment wise) and it appears some others have noticed too. But you're right, Barry_S, maybe it just comes in phases, like the seasons, ...and my relationships.

Thanks for taking a look at my site. It's very static right now (i.e. boring). Maybe I'll add a forum to Laundry Day and name it DVXuserX. hehehehe Ahhhhh memories. Good times. Good times.

Hey PK...The powers that be can't restore your name I guess because the new software can't handle it, like the old stuff wouldn't let you type in dick, it always came out as sick. I carried your banner for as long as I could, but alas you are still Isara to this day. Welcome back, and may you not be taken by the HVX (dark) side:laugh:

Mino, I appreciate your campaign to get my name switched back. I would have accepted PK GIllock, without the dots. I always felt the dots were a little pretentious anyway :) Thanks again buddy and I hope you're doing well.
 
Thanks Isaac. I checked out your website. Looks like you've done alot of work for UNICEF. Did you visit Africa for those videos or did they give you footage they shot? Can you tell me some more about those projects? You must feel good about the work you've done. Good job man.
 
PK (a.k.a Isara) - Welcome back Dude! Have you tried e-mailing King Jarred about your name? I did when the site first got switched over and he was able to modify mine to display correctly.
