pixelation in some dissolves after compression?

I'm using compressor 2 that comes bundled with final cut pro 5 and I have the settings at
- Two pass VBR Best
-6.5 average bit rate/7.5 maximum
-motion at best
-GOP at size 7 frames IBBP
-restore black filter +3black
-gamma fix filter +.9
-brightness and contrast filter +2contrast
-sharpen edges filter +2

Of course it takes forever to compress but once done it has some pixelation in some dissolves near the tail end of the outgoing shot. This especially seems to happen when one is dissolving from a panning shot to a stationary shot.

Anybody have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Hi Ralph,
Try this:
-Go back to your movie source, make a compression marker on the problematic dissolve.(Simply press "M" while you are on it on the timeline. You'll see the green marker, then press m again and select the 'compressor marker'.
-Increase your max bit rate to 7.8
-Use Close gop at 15...
