pixelated video capture?

When I capture in Adobe Premiere and burn a DVD I see footage captured from my DVX100B as pixelated instead of fuzzy on my HD tv. Then I see footage on a DVD from a camcorder edited in Sony Vegas on my HD tv fuzzy but the pixels arn't noticable on my tv.

It seems like the footage captured from my DVX100B is causing the "pixelated" look because imported images dont look pixelated on my TV but rather fuzzy. Why is this going on? Is it a setting in my DVX? I don't want that pixelated look.

Any help on this would be great!

Thanks!
Austin

infinitysquared,

well some basics to start with,

shooting settings ? what are they, i.e. 60i / 24P

premiere pro, when you create a new project, you designate your scratch, and you should match your shooting settings with your capture settings. i.e. select DV, + symbol drops to aspects ratio i.e. 16:9 or 4:3 then mghz for sound.

currently i am shooting football at 4:3 / 60i / at 48kHz

should be straight forward from there.

post back , see how u made out.

i just got my 100b last week and hasn't given me any problems. lovin it.
