It's not even an actual word in that sense. It was used (in days of yore) by saying something like "a great huzzah rose from the crowd," but it's the same as saying "a great cheer rose from the crowd." You don't go around yeliing "cheer! Cheer!" The word describes what happens, but no one yelled that word. It's a noun, not an exclamation. (Refer to Schoolhouse Rock for technical definitions of same.)

The Simpsons are great. I just want to sit in on their writing sessions. Genius. Ralph has some great lines too. Maybe we should start a Simpsons Topic (post your favorite quote). Would that be considered piracy or unethical? Sharing our favorite quotes. Internal conflict RISING AGAIN!! Must listen to calming music and make a booty call.

Listening to the commentaries on the DVDs are just as good. They are all histerical. Conan O'Brien speaks on the one that he wrote.
The Futurama commentaries are great too. They make you realize how amazing the writing is.
