Pirates of the Flats

Here's a teaser for an ESPN 2 show that I helped shoot with Ken Hendricks.

They had about 5 shooter teams for 2 weeks. We went down for 2 days with the RED.

Somehow it seems like a disproportionate number of the shots are what we shot

I just found out the first episode of this is going to air on Dec 27 at 7AM (eastern time, I think) on ESPN2.

I've been at this game for a while, but it's the first time something I worked on is going out on a major channel like this (unless you count the PSAs that show at 4AM)

I'm pretty excited.

I remember when you posted some of the footage before. It was outstanding, and this teaser footage is gorgeous. Tactile, I can feel it. Fishing is a feeling of connection to nature, and this captures it beautifully. I'm sure it will be noticed. Congratulations, and I hope it, ahem, hooks you some big contracts.

Thanks. Obviously there were a bunch of shooters there and, based on the results, they all did a great job. There are a number of shots that I know were ours though.

Don't really know if I'll be up at 5AM Mountain Time to watch it though

Wow. The show turned out really well.

There were quite a few of our shots in there, but the guys who were on Keaton and Brokaw did a really good job.

Jim, congrats, bro. Eventually hard work pays off on a personal level.
