Pink Green encode - what could cause?

Hi folks.

Firstly, apologies that this is a little vague.

I have a feed off a splitter, of a screen capture going directly into an external capture card. This is then recorded, uploaded and finally encoded by our server. Whilst everything looks fine in the screen grab software - we are experiencing green/pink distortions throughout the clip after it has been encoded.

I was wondering if there is anything in particular whilst encoding a video file that may cause this? Apologies, but I don't know the exact working of the encode as I don't have access to that part of the system.

Any wild theories welcome :)

Perhaps a color space conversion issue. RBG to YUV type deal. Try exporting to a different codec first and see if that helps. If you are using creative cloud, make sure to download the latest updates for premiere.

Hi! Thanks for the reply. I figured out the issue today. I tried colour space issues but to no avail. Basically as soon as I opened the capture card software it went away. I was trying to run the capture card with the machine logged off. It's a long story and that probably doesn't make much sense... but I made it work so it's all good :)
