I think I would need a firmware hack that it can do 4 perf and not only 8 though :(
On the other hand the scanner would be double as fast 19 sec per frame, lol ;)

update: a friend just told me that it is easy to write a script that could separate the 2 4perf images on the still to two separated stills. A stop motion software can do the video out of it.

So no 3 perf, but 4 perf would be in theory possible, interesting :)
