Piecing together a Lav kit

your best bet is still the sennheiser ew100 g2 system and replace the lav with a countryman emw or b6 or sanken cos11 (wired for g2) sorry!

It seems people like the sound of the countryman and I guess the Sennheisers are all I need in terms of transmitters
 
Well not to be nit-picky but it's really the size of the countryman B6 & B3 and the price of the EMW that make them a favorite. They sound ok but really the versatily is it's outstanding feature.

I recently tried out the PinMic and am considering replacing most of my B6 with the PinMic. It takes more effort and creativity to mount but once it is in place you are good to go until a wardrobe change.

Stay tuned for some used B6 going up for sale here. I can get them wired for the G2 if someone wants.

i think you can pick up new g-2 with b-6 ( not that i recomend on that one ) for about 700usd new
or just the g-2 for 420 and add sanken for 295

- not at coffey sound
 
I've got two extra sets of Senn. G2s in block C if you are interested in them. I also have Tram TR-50 lavs wired for them.
