Pictures of your dogs...and cats.

Yeah those labradoodles are the size and shape of a labrador, but with poodle "no-shed" fur. (The dog pictured is a puppy.) Plus their personalities are great... just like a lab. After playing with two of these by different owners I'd probably go with one if I knew it was going to be an inside/outside dog... and I had enough yard for the thing.

My mom just got one. I haev to admit, they are really dang cute. But, it's still a puppy and we all know that they look that way at that age as a survival plan. Tricky little monsters!

Heh yeah, that kitty kills me. I waited a bit before deciding to post.

Did you guys pay over a grand? I'm wondering if the cost is still that high. My most recent encounter with one was $1400.

It said this about Labradoodles on one site:

It was hoped that the puppies would be a mix of the wonderful “eager to please” temperament of the lab and the allergy-friendliness of the poodle.

They don't look much different from a standard poodle to me.

That's why I said that first one was a puppy. Here is an adult... shave this dog and a labrador and you can't pick 'em apart. Some have more poodle-like fur then others, but here's the gist of it:

Exactly! Have you ever pet a poodle? You know how the fur is almost not there? It's so soft and "permed" that your fingers go right through it? Same exact fur on these things... super soft... looks like a toy in person... same feeling of massaging a softball wearing a crappy wig when you pet the head.

Think of it as a poodle you can take hunting... or one that will double as a guard dog.

True Story: When I was about 6, me and my brothers wanted to see what would happen if we threw our poodle off a two story balcany. His name was Bo-Bett. He instantly turned into a "Limpinpoodle".
