Picture flickering problem can anyone help?

Has anyone had problems with your stills (pictures) flickering when you add motion? When I move pictures in FCP motion tab it flickers, some pictures more than others. I'm importing my pics from i-photo or off a CD most shot with a 6 mega pixel camera. Any ideas?

are you using jpeg, tiff or png stills?

mainly jpegs but sometimes tiffs doesn't seem to make a difference.

hmm...are you preveiwing out an ntsc montior?

not using my ntsc monitor right know , its throwing off my audio sink when Im editing. Once I turn it off video and audio look normal. The flickering is noticable when Im editing and on DVD output. It seem to be more on the high contrast area like water or sky when I add movement to the picture.
