Pi

Cant believe there isn't a post about the movie Pi. I searched twice. Just wondering what you guys thought about it. I know there were allot of secret messages that you really need to watch the movie multiple times to pick up on.

Good film. I haven't seen it in years. Now that you've reminded me about it I'll have to pull out the DVD and watch it again. This is definitely one of those films that I could never see being done properly in color. The black and white aesthetic is perfect for this.

If you like Pi, another one of Aronofsky's films, The Fountain is great as well.

Aronofsky is a fave dir of mine. I enjoy Pi, Requiem, Fountain, Wrestler...

I haven't seen Pi in ages though. My goodness. I gotta check it out again when I have the chance.

As for the fountain, I find it absolutely beautiful, but the story kind of fell apart in my hands. Felt like if the stories were just a bit more connected, it would have been a great film.
