HEY GUYS,
This seems to have many people confused. What I'm trying to do is print an 8X10 photo from Photoshop CS on a Mac OS X Intel i5. I'll explain the mysterious issue.
I'm grabbing a still shot from FCP 6 and exporting to JPEG or PSD from footage recorded from a new panasonic palmcorder HDC-SD80. So when you view the still shot on your desktop it is 720x480 resolution.
Then I import into Photoshop CS and and go to print preview then hit the (scale to fit) button.
and print. So whats happening is the photo is cropping off the image on the right and left side basically printing as a 4X3 image taken from video.
Please I'm asking anyone for help with this matter or tips on any software than can meet my needs.
I'm ordering a bunch of cameras for a company and have to print stills this way due to the nature of the business.
thanks
