Photoshop pictures in FCP without background?

Hey all,

I got a problem which I hope some of you can solve. I am doing a project for a costumer and now I have to import a ai. file from photoshop in my FCP project. The file supposed to be a sticker on a object inside the movie, but if I import it into FCP it automatically puts a white background behind it. How can I import only the sticker without the white background? Thanks a million.

Do you have a base layer in your photoshop file? If all you have is the sticker/sticker elements, that might be why its not playing nice. If you have a background layer as the base layer it should go in fine. If you make that layer transparent, then just cut in the Photoshop file as is.
