A client has sent me a layered Photoshop file to be used as a menu in DVD Studio Pro. How can I activate the text to create a button in DVD Studio Pro?

Thanks,
Andrew

I would suggest to try importing each layer into DVDSP and creating the menu with the layers. It's easy to set your txt as a link/button from there.

Open it in photoshop, and make a layer that has just the text on it, as black, with everything else white. Export that layer, flattened, and set that as an 'overlay' in DVDSP. Set the whole PSD jsut as your background. Click and drag to create a button selection area over the text, change the colors and you're all set!

I think you can do this with a 'layered menu' but I don't remember the exact steps right now, and those are for other purposes, this can easily be done as described above.

Okay, so it's still not working. I can import the PSD file as a background, and then I can import a flattened PSD file as a button, but when I do that, it appears in tiny text. How can I get the flattened file to appear on the menu as button in proper size?

Thanks.
