Says that PhotoShop CS3 will be "formally introduced on March 27, 2007 – as part of the company’s launch of Creative Suite 3, where further details will be disclosed. The software is expected to ship in Spring 2007."

Nope. Once you apply a filter, it's applied and you can't just turn them on or off.

I wonder what else has changed. I wonder what they've added to Illustrator...

Thats because it does NOT run on rosetta, its Adobe's first universal release.
(also might be why Photoshop CS1 and 2 crashes alot on The Intel Macs.)

Adobe CS3 will be announced, not ship on March 27
March 6, 2007 - 08:58 EST According to a story on Macworld UK today, Adobe is declining previous reports that it will ship Adobe Creative Suite 3 on March 27th at a special event in New York city. "The company says Adobe CS3 will ship 'later in spring.' It's not all bad news: the company will demonstrate the products and features that make up the suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Adobe Bridge. Some versions of the software suite will also include Acrobat, GoLive and Dreamweaver, the company confirmed."

Im WELL aware of that.

My CS2 never crashed on me though, neither does my CS3.

Well On my friends macbook CS1 would crash very often, it just closed all on its own...
