Photoshop CS3 Extended

Didn't mean to be condescending... My apiologies if it felt that way.... But I do stand by my statement. Sorry if I don't like your clip, but this is a forum where people critic each other's work. All you did it seems is to brighten your darks and midtones. It's doesn't really add anything interesting to the shot. My opinion.

Well I apologize for my inapropriate use of the term. It is color correction, yes.

I wasn't trying to impress, anyway.. Just showing an example of what can be done and sharing my excitement.

Again, I apologize for not meeting your standards. I'll try harder next time. ;)

Relax kiddo. Nobody was putting you down. Pop a Xanax or something and call it good. I'm not sure what all the excitement was about in the first place. You could have done those corrections with the built in, stock, 3 way color corrector in FCP in 30 sec or less.

Haha I wasn't angry, just sarcastic..

lol, I know you could've done that in FCP. Put I don't have FCP.

I was just sharing the capability. I wasn't saying my video was SUPER AWESOME FANTASTICO. I did it in 3 minutes.. lol.

Just, being able to use photoshop to directly edit frames could potentially make editing video much easier. I'm aware you could do probably everything photoshop can do in After Effects... But there are some people who don't want to learn it or don't have time. With Photoshop you can apply what you already know to achieve some great-looking video.

The only advantage you would have with color correcting in Photoshop vs FCP is that, in Photoshop, you can CC in 16 bit color space. I'm not sure, but you might be stuck in 8 bit color mode with FCP. True, you can't tell the difference with the naked eye, but if you do several corrections, you won't lose color information between iterations.

I think FCP does 32 bit 4:4:4 float.

Unfortunately, its color corrector has a tendency to make blacks milky and lacking in detail. But I mean...it comes with Color now so whatever.
