photoshop automation

i have 100 TIF files that i need to convert to .png. How can i do this without resaving each one indivdually?

Record an "action" then do a "batch process" on the folder.
Just make sure you "save as" to a new folder or you will lose your original.
Let me know if you need more detail and I'll do some screen grabs for ya.
