Have ya'll ever checked out this DPChallenge.com? I spent a couple of hours today cheating on DVXUser and bumming through the archives over there and it is really cool. I guess they have weekly photography challenges, sort of like our DVXFests.

I don't know, just seemed interesting to me and I think depending on what their next challenge is (they have 2 ending today) I am going to enter something just so I have an excuse to shoot something.

We should have DVXUsers represent with a vengence there.

They have some amazing stuff under the archive section that just makes my amatuer hobbiest stuff seem like... well like amatuer hobbiest stuff. It goes way beyond just the photoshop ability of some of these people, just to straight photography ability.

Well I'll go humiliate myself, but c'mon, other than Isaac (the ever changing avataur moderator) there has to be others who want to do this.

Oh I'll humiliate myself over there shortly. I agree about the photography ability part too. Kprince needs to post some of his stuff there.

Yeah he does, but even some of the stuff that Matt took in Haiti with a little Photoshop could work for any of those contests that allow advanced editing.

I just keep looking at what some of these people have done and it amazes me how gifted some people are with a camera... In a way it is just like this site... Excuse me while I go slit my throat.

Why am I more intimidated than ever to even try to submit anything?

Isaac... wanna have our own challenge right here?

I just ordered my camera from B&H
I got the Canon 20d with a 2gb card and the Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Autofocus Lens. Yippee
