Photog major - skydiving commercial

There is a commercial out right now for a phone where it shows these people jumping out of an airplane and the VO says something like I am a photography major on my first fashion shoot. Does this commercial irk anyone like it does me? Next there will be someone with a phone with the VO, "I am a professional DP shooting my first movie"

Or am I way off based and photography students are learning on phones now?

Thank goodness someone else out there feels the same. Every time I see it I get frustrated.

So we're supposed to believe that:

1) He's a photography student and for his first photo shoot he chooses to go skydiving, and has the money for something this lavish with a trained skydiving crew and model? I smell snobby rich kid.
2) He's a photography student and he's allowed to use a phone as part of the curriculum? What teacher would allow that? "Hmm, this phone is good, why not use it instead of a high resolution DSLR with sharp prime lenses?" If he's so rich that he's able to do this, why's he choose to go with some low end camera? At least buy yourself a 5D, must be pocket change for you.

Also why is he recommending the phone to the world? He's a new photography student doing his first photoshoot, he doesn't know anything. If they claimed this kid as a seasoned photographer, then I'd just say it's another stupid stunt. But because he's a 'new student', this commercial is really trying to say 'as long as you have our phone, you're a professional photographer.' Ugh...

Here Terry:

Not the version I saw (though the footage is the same, and dialogue pretty much the same). I think his name was Tony in the shorter one, and he was the one talking to us. something like this: "I'm a photography student and this is my first shoot" "I'm recording video and trying to get the perfect picture" "My name is blah blah and I recommend this phone."

More to hate- the story of Nick, the photographer, and the jump preps (with a funny bit from a physicist talking about the 125mph wind ripping clothes off the model).
Notice the DP is NOT wearing a phone on his head!

And the BTS

And...where's the shot he went to so much trouble taking? Wasn't that the point of the ad? That's a good one.

//Oh wait. I think I found it.
