Phone crackle

im making a lil short video adn im on the phone, and i wanna add an effect so it sounds like the cracklign scary effect, so i added this garageband band, Vinyl Scratch effect in and it works, i added a nice filter to make it sound scratchy, But what audio effect, in final cut pro, can i add to make it sound like its coming from the phone, not just the whole room im in? thanks

Use the 3-band EQ filter in FCP and roll off the highs and lows and possibly push up the mids (telephones work mainly w/midtone frequencies).
