Phoenix lights = aliens!

I can't believe nobody's commenting on this. This is the most corroborated UFO sighting in the history of the world. They're reporting on it at CNN. The only reason I didn't link there is b/c they have that weird video link thing that's javascript so it's impossible to cut and paste a link.

Now you have a government official (not some ho-shucks redneck) admitting that he saw a UFO that day. I think that's a pretty big deal.

Anybody on this board live in Phoenix? Was there that day?

I wish something like this happened in this day and age, with pretty much everybody having video-phones. It would have been recorded by a million people.

Not just a "government official" but actually the Governor of the state of Arizona (at the time). And the video they show of the "Phoenix Lights" isn't from some crackpot, it's from KTVK News, a Phoenix news station.

Doesn't mean it's an alien spacecraft, but it looks like they definitely saw a UFO (in that a UFO = Unidentified Flying Object, and here it's a decade later and the flying object in question is still unidentified/unexplained).
 
Nah, just the lights. But man, it was scary and exciting all at the same time.

I know one thing for sure though: It wasn't flares.
