Philip Bloom Slider Dolly with Manfrotto head

Does anyone know if the 504HD Manfrotto head can mount on top of the Philip Bloom slider dolly? (I guess you would call it "Flat Mount")

I believe the 504 is a ball mounted head 75 mm. I use the Kessler 100mm hi hat, with 75mm adapter on my home made slider. Don't think you can flat mount the 504?

You can mount it provided you have a 3/8" bolt that will clear the slider's surfaces from under the sled. Like most tripod heads, the 504HD is flat and has the bowl mounted as an AKS.

So I can remove the ball mount from the head thus making it a flat mount?

[EDIT] I totally lied to you! Manfrotto called me back today on this question and they tell me that the 75mm bowl is made to both the 504HD and 509HD. The adapter to make it all flat is the 325N. [/EDIT]
