I was laughing so hard. Philip made these and just posted them on his twitter,
you really gotta love this guy, his sense of humor is indomitable.

Forums are not always about attacking - there are many here with mad respect for you Philip.
Here's hoping to see you around here more often.

Because this is an open forum, it invites people from all backgrounds, and I cannot see how this thread would end up any differently than the others.

Well I have hope.

Just watch the star wars satires - I'm sure they'll get a grin out of you - the threads worth starting just to share those videos !

edit:
actually I should give props to the writer of the script. Sense of timing and the lines were pretty damn good.

Seriously? Who has nothing better to do with their time than attack Bloom? The guy is full of information. I remember looking at his vids around the time I first got started. I still check out his vids. His JVC HM100 was both informative and entertaining. And he's good with explaining the pros and cons.

Plus 2000000000000000.

Much respect to Phil Bloom.

I never really got what Phillip Bloom was about, insofar as I always knew his name but never really knew what films he had made. But after spending some time on his site I was impressed with his short documentaries, and finally got around to reading his reviews and watching some of his tests. Hard to understand why some people don't like him as he seems like a genuine guy; and no BS.

Anyway, he has a great eye for capturing beautiful scenes, and a unique style.

Having had a chance to spend some time with Philip at NAB, I can tell you all that he's a stand up guy, and a quality human being. I, for one, appreciate the time he takes to share what he knows, and to give us an insight into pieces of gear that many of us just can't get our hands on to test. And more than anything, I hope he keeps making films and being a contributing part of DVXUser.

And I'll buy you a pint at NAB 2012, PB!
