Phantom power?!!?

mmm

Veteran
Is there a portable, battery-powered way to provide phantom power (48V) that doesn't cost the earth. I need to run an MKH60 into a non-phantom powering beachtek.

I looked at some of the ART products (Phantom III) but they seemed to all require mains AC. I can't spend much because it is just for a quick, cheap job.

Thanks
:)

Why do you keep asking the same questions? This was answered last week:

Sorry, don't mean to clog things up... bought a 2nd hand beachtek since then, so just need the phantom power now. It is a different question, nobody answered my second question on the last post.

I do need 48V but want something as small as possible to stick in my pocket/on my belt and then output to the beachtek. Does anyone recommend any particular make or model?

Did you say Behringer are a bit dodgy thisiswells?

Cheers

Looking at the Behringer, it looks like it only supplies 18V phantom when using batteries. Wouldn't that cause problems with an MKH60?
