Petroff or Chrosziel 450-01 Matte Box ?

whats up guys and gals,

I'm ordering (2) HVX200 the zacuto baseplates. I'm having a hard time picking a Matte Boxx. Could someone tell me which is better the Petroff or the Chrosziel 450-01 Matte Box ?

Don't get Geardear, I had one for a month and sold it, it looks good, it's cheap, but it has all kind of problems. Trust me pay the price for a great mattebox. I have a Petroff, best matte box I have ever seen. Go Petroff for your MatteBox and go Chrosziel for your Follow Focus.
 
I like my Geardear a lot. And the service of this company. If you have the money to spend 1300 US$, you can go with one Petroff. Or you buy four matteboxes from Geardear. ;-)

Can you please tell me what kind of problems you had with it, because I don't want to buy it blind. I have also planned on buying the geardears rod system, is that any good?
 
Indeed. would be good to hear. It's gotten great reviews. Maybe a shoot out or something would be nice
 
Thanks for all your input. I just got my two HVX 200s, I went with the Petroff Matte Box. I have to say this thing is sweet. I'll have more to say once I test it out on set.
