Peoples thoughts on C shape support? What's better for baseplate & top handle set up?
I am considering a more compact set up with maybe using a baseplate with a top handle.
I noticed C-shape supports on Ebay which gives the camera a nice open space as compared to cages and seen some samples of accessories attached to the side of the support.
Wondering if people have experience or knowledge on these and whether they are durable, not susceptible to bending, breakage, etc. and how are they in regards to balance.
What are people's recommendations about getting a light, durable and affordable set up where the basis of the configuration is baseplate and top handle.
I would like to avoid supports that are mainly plastic.
