Last year I was in Erasmus in Istanbul, I love this chaotic city. I have filmed my first doc, about Tarlabasi district :
Forgotten by the government Kurds, Turks, Gypsies and Africans living in Tarlabasi, historic Greektown in downtown Istanbul. Many of its inhabitants live by trade and handicrafts in neighboring Istiklal Street. The council is carrying out a demolition of part of the neighborhood, within the rehabilitation process = speculation downtown. Many of the inhabitants of Tarlabasi have been driven from their homes, forced to live on the outskirts of the city, without any manner of living.
