Pelican 9450 Remote Area Lighting System (LED)

It would be interesting to hear how the color temperature and CRI are when you use it. And also whether it really seems to give adequate light (1200 lumens is about the equivalent of a 60w tungsten). The throw and super focused 1w LEDs may make a difference though in perceived brightness.

If you buy it, please report back with impressions.

Our local reseller has one and to be honest, for the price and apparent light output, I'm wasn't so impressed to even do any research into color temp and such - happy to stop by this next week and check it out more but according to my reseller contact, they're not selling well at all.

I don´t think they lit that firetruck scene with those lights.
Looks like a fake to me.

for $789 I can buy at least 5 of these

plus some car batteries and cases and sticks.

Any of them is about as bright as 200W Tungsten

Othervise you get what you pay for - a Pelican sticker on the box. ;-)
