Does anyone have the pelican 1510 case? I am thinking about getting one for my 100b, and I am curious as to how spacious the 1510 is. I would like to be able to fit everything that I need in it. If anyone has any pictures of their gear in the 1510, that would be much appreciated.
 
check out the storm case im2500, it is flight legal as well, and a little lighter and larger. It also has three layers of pluckable foam rather than two.
 
yep, i have it. hmmm. i think that's the one i have. the airline legal flight case, right? i can get some pics of it tonight. i love it. very good case.
 
I've got the 1510 with the divider set (hate the pick n' pluck) and it's a great case for the DVX or similar size cam. I've also used it to FEDEX a DVX and accessories and everything came through in perfect shape. I recommend the dividers because they make it easy to reconfigure as needed in a couple minutes.
 
I had the 1510 when I owned the DVX. I agree with Barry_S on the dividers... nicer to have a reconfigurable setup.

I loved the case. nice and solid. Basically, there was enough room for the cam and power accessories, 2 5400 batteries, a Senn G2 wireless kit, and some tapes. I think that's what i fit in there...

I use the 1510 for my HVX. It's a tight fit, but works fine, so I am sure it would be ok for the DVX. I have the HVX, 2 p2 cards, 4 batteries, and a remote in the case.

That was one of the things that I was interested in because I am planning on upgrading to the HVX in the future.
