Pegasus LTS Systems (slider) Video Series

Part 1 of our highly requested Pegasus Linear Tracking Systems video series is now up at Cinevate's Video University section. Part 1 covers the Pegasus kit which essentially turns any 15mm rods into an incredibly smooth linear tracking system. It also provides added goodies for our existing Proteus Carbon Rails systems users to mulit-task the system as as standalone table dolly. Using this kit with our cable wheels starts you off with a cable cam setup too. You'll find a few BTS clips from Stillmotion's Recent Evolution workshops hiding in there including the 5D on the system, floor/table dolly shots etc.

Part two covers our Pegasus 1 meter carbon/cable system while part 3 covers the Pegasus Heavy Lifter. I'll update here when they're up later this week. The frame grab below came from a Sony EX1 using the Brevis MP.1 flip with CFXL element and a 100mm Canon Macro lens.

Enjoy :-)

Here you go..part 2 in both streaming and iPod encodes. This one covers the 1 meter carbon rails system which can also be retasked as a cable cam and table dolly (no rails required) unit.

Cheers,
Dennis

Woops, part 2 was an f4v encode...all fixed :-) I'll aplogize in advance for the video grain...I'm pretty sure the HPX500 was toggled to high gain by mistake...

Thanks Jason. This is going to sound like a late night infomercial..but there's more :-) We just came up with a very simple part that allows the table/floor dolly mode system to be quickly configured for circular tracking at pretty much any diameter from 30 ft to about 8 inches. We'll be adding it to the parts collection once they're done CNC machining. The shots are similar to what you'd use a P&S skater for but at about 10% of the price, and obviously very different in terms of how it works.
