PDF Help: Optimal settings

Hey All,

I'm trying to create a downloadable PDF newsletter but I'm having trouble keeping the file size manageable. I'd appreciate any tips regarding exporting out of Photoshop. Specifically, dpi, image size/print size, and any other settings.

Photoshop --- > newsletter.....
You should be using Illustrator for a newsletter if you have it/familiar with it.
Photoshop is a pixel-based application and the pdf is going to be large. Illustrator is vector-based and will help tremendously in keeping the pdf file size small.
