I've just received my HVX200 - Love it.
I bought it used and it came with 2 4gb cards.
I'll have to transfer in the field but I've only got a simple Macbook other than my desktop and of course it's only got Firewire/USB2 in.
I want to get this

Anyone know of and adapter to transfer into a macbook?

Thanks

If you have an expresscard slot your "good to go"... make sure you read the section on whaat driver you need or do not need from "Duel" and make sure you install the latest Panasonic P 2 driver into the lappy as well.

That's the problem. I don't have a Expresscard slot. Only Firewire and USB2.
I'm looking for an Expresscard to Firewire/USB2 adapter.

Yeah, I had a closer look and you're right.
Now I have to find an expresscard to any of those inputs adapter. :furious3:
Do you know of another way Barry?

The best, cheapest, and simplest way is to just get a Windows laptop. Ullanta picked up one off ebay, a Lenovo T42 or something, for like $200. You can network the laptop over to the Mac and use the laptop as a slot reader directly from the Mac desktop.

Or, preferably, just use the Windows laptop to offload the cards to external USB or firewire FAT32 hard drives. Then plug those drives right into the Mac to edit.
