PCMCIA Card Reader for Apple G5

Searched around - can't find a definitive answer ... so ...

What PCI-X card are people using to read P2 cards in a PowerMac G5? Is there any specifics I need to look for when purchasing? Does this even work?

hi I am stefano from Italy and I have the same problem with PCI card and G5. today is arrived an adaptor from: Duel-Systems Adapters Customer Service duel but for the moment it's not good, doesn't work with 10.4.9 and with 10.4.8 work the adaptor but doesn't read p2..... is a ****ing problem between panasonic and apple but I have to work. and now......

Hmmm... i find this very strange - Nobody around here has yet to try this? Does everyone just use P2 store or Laptop??

I guess i'll order a few different cards and check it out...and will post my findings....unless of course someone else can chime in with any results before i have a chance.

It seems like a lot of people use the cheap laptop method. You can get cheap new pc laptops with pcmcia slots for $450.
