PC system suggestions for CS4 & P2

Wow. There's a LOT you can do with $4K, especially building your own.
Fastest processor, premium board, lots of DDR3 RAM, great video card, 10K RPM system drive, big striped RAID, dual-monitor setup . . .

I was just about to open up a new topic about this.I also have ecaxtlly the same budget with you. I am a pc user for my hole life,t his time i am so between with aplle or mac, lots of people say lots of things.I am bored of xp crushes and wierd runtime errors. Iwanted to have a stabile machine as much as i can. But last week i saw cs4 installed on a pc workstation, with 3.0 xeon processors and 8gb memory, of course with vista OS and i wonder which apple system can deal with it? A 15k apple workstation maybe?
My budget also around 4k-5k but i want to include cs4 production premium in it as well. Seems hard
Another thing i can not decide is; new corei7 or new 8core xeons which they expect to be relased in a few months(as far as i know)?
I wonder about The NVIDIA® Quadro® CX CS4 accelarator display cards?Is it really worth 4 the price?
Is it only accelarating the h264 rendering, or will it help me to work fast on timeline with realtime effect displays?
What would be your config with this budget guys?
