Pc/Pal users workflow?

Hi, all pc pal users!

What is your workflow? how do you output your hd-video to an tv/referens monitor?

I have two alternativ that i can think of:

1* Do you recomend the "cineform aspect hd" and in that case with wich hardware do you output your video to an tv for color correction etc. Of course its the raylight also but cineform seams more flexible.

2* Is "AJA xena LHe" or "black magic" a better way to work since you have an output to an referensmonitor on the cards and wich one do you recomend.
(programs of use is, premire, combuston, shake, photoshop)

Also i wonder about 50p, if you can playback it at 50 fps in your nle? (i prefer premiere)
cause if your moving alot and you don't want all motionblur from your "run and gun"
i guess you have an shaper image if you shot it in 50p?

Hi,

We are using a BlackMagic Decklink Card to output to a Sony HD Monitor. The Decklink card handles a lot of different formats and will also play most formats out in realtime. We can play DVCPro HD (compressed) straight out to the monitor. (It uncompresses the signal on the fly.)
The decklink will also do HD downconversion in realtime if you do not have a high definition monitor.

We are using the decklink on a Mac, but it also works on PC with Premiere, Shake, After Effects etc.

I should mention, that since my first two posts have been about BlackMagic Cards - I do not work for BlackMagic, I just use a lot of their cards, and they are great!
