Check out a copy of Career Opportunities in the Film Industry.

The following article has a list of crew positions and average salary at the end.

These are based off of the aforementioned publishing.

What is odd, is that the best boy makes more than his boss? (the gaffer)

If I were the gaffer, I'd be asking for a demotion~! Maybe he is paid more because everyday he is referred to as a boy?

Gaffer
Salary: $30,000 to $70,000+
Job Description: The chief lighting electrician, responsible for lighting the set according to direction from the cinematographer, who may request a feel of “late morning” or “twilight.”

Best Boy Electric
Salary: $50,000 to $75,000+
Job Description: Assists the gaffer, supervises the rest of the electricians. Can be a woman, but the title's the same.

Gotta make it up to him, somehow.

Way to blow off the Art Department, and SFX, and VFX, by the way. Cause it's not like making films and tv ever requires the use of a set, or dressing, or locations, or effects, or anything like that.

Jerkass weasels.
