Pavarotti E Morto...

[DeSica]

Oggi, a Modena, verso le cinque di mattina.

Non sapevo che era malato. Non me l'aspettavo.

Comunque, condoglianze alla sua famgilia. Era un grande artista, voluto bene da tanta gente. Si sentira la sua mancanza.

Riposi In Pace.

Saw him perform La Boheme at the Met, years ago. Nothing like it.

I was saddened to hear of Luciano's passing. He will be missed. In his honor I shall listen to several of my many Pavarotti CD's tommorrow.

Rest In Peace Luciano.

Starting about 3 months ago I picked up an incredible appreciation for opera... Pavarotti being of course a favorite.

I was watching one of his clips on YouTube a while ago and saw a comment that I liked a lot; it went something like: "This is the kind of stuff that we should broadcast into space to show the universe what the human race is capable of."

Pavarotti is incredible when he comes in. He manages to sound amazing in comparison to two of the other "best tenors in the world."
