I believe this would be the third film in Nick Frost and Simon Pegg's "Ice Cream Trilogy" (following Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz).

And it can't come out soon enough for me. :D
 
What's wrong with the cast list? I for one am excited about this. I love Simon Pegg and Nick Forst together. As far as my memory serves, they've never done a film with Seth Rogen, especially not one where Seth Rogen plays a slacker Alien.

I suppose you're refering to Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig (knocked up) and Jane Lynch (knocked up)? It's not like this film is all the usual Apatow gang again.
 
As yes, Hader. Has Koechner done anything with Seth Rogen and his gang?

Honestly, to me Hader, Wiig and Lynch aren't really "the usual" Seth Rogen/Apatow people. So for me it doesn't bother me. Especially since the focus is on Rogen, Pegg and Frost.
 
They all play the same character type in the same movie type, whether or not the producers are the same. Just seems like the same thing over and over even if the players get shuffled around a bit.
 
Isn't that common of most comedy actors though? They have their "thing" and they play themselves in almost every role. I don't mind it as long as it's not too much. But I guess it depends on the person and where that "too much" line is.

The only comedy actor I'm getting tired of at the moment is Micheal Cera.
 
Well, yeah. They're all kind of Michael Ceras to me. Can't think of anyone presently more overexposed than Jane Lynch.
