I will be building a new editing desk and have a Matrox rtx100. a Makie board and a JVC broadcast monitor with bnc & svhs connections (2 channels). I would like to look into a patch panel as the matrox breakout box is not that cute, they built the darn thing like a funny spearheaded dupe! Couldnt they have made a more pro looking thing. What solutions would there be to patch panel the desk ie checking various outputs for sound and video?
