It's not often I get an off-duty LAPD officer assigned to me on a set as my security (actually the very first time). Awesome guy....we hit it off right away. Slagging the world down (LOL....under our breaths of course).......poking fun at the industry and perceptions out there. Talking "shop"......
Let's just say.......having the production hire him just to protect me and my props.......one of those rare moments you will never forget. Love the "warm and fuzzy" feeling.
I normally provide my own security and conduct things on set according to the size of the job....mainly putting the fear of God into any and all crew/cast that are not issued a weapon for set use.... Still maintained my standards on set.....but was able to relax a bit knowing he had my back (despite it just being a 3-firearm gig). Felt great.
Must consider adding this to my contracts with productions.....I had real FUN today.....because they put me in on camera.......
