Passed the part 107 test, Now i can get paid to fly!

Little cheer for me, my studies paid off and i am now certified to fly commercially.

Today i cut together a reel of some of the hobbyist clips i've been amassing, to garner commercial attention

Good job! I studied for a week then have been too busy so I still haven't taken it. Any advice?
Some have lots of metar and sectionals, some have none. Seems the tests vary a lot.

Took my Part 107 exam today and passed with a 90. Very thankful I passed the first try and didn't have to take 6 hours out of another day to do it.
Not one single METAR or PIREP was on mine. Few weather questions. Lots of sectional charts dealing with airspace. Several questions related to airplanes, communication frequencies and a few off-the-wall questions they must have pulled from the clear blue sky.

How often do you need to recertify? I really should get the materials and take this. No UAV yet, but I'd like to have one for some hobby stuff and if I have one for hobby I might as well advertise for commercial.

Not sure there is enough work around me to justify the time and expense of the test, at least 4 guys that I know that have passed the test and have services for hire. Probably several more I don't know and we are still mostly a closed area due to the local airport. A couple guys are working to open up certain areas, but no luck anywhere near takeoff or approach paths so far for any altitude. My have something to do with the National Guard base at the airport too.

Frankly I think if there is someone reliable licensed and nearby it's easier to just hire them then to jump through all the hoops if you need to operate in controlled airspace. By the time you figure all the time it takes to get licensed and then all the rest plus risk.

Yes you have to recertify every two years and your aircraft registration every 3 years.
And if you move you have to update your address within 30 days.
Those are the current rules, but could change
