Pary Fogger interchangeable fluid?

Has anyone tried using heavy duty Rosco Fog Fluid in a cheap 400 watt party fogger? I did and the machine didn't work. I exchanged for a new fogger and haven't yet tried it. I've read that the fluids are NOT interchangeable but I've heard many people tell me they are. Can anybody help me out before I ruin another one and have to go make another exchange? Thanks,

It should work, but if you did it and trashed one, you might want to follow the manufacturers instructions.

It turned out the pumps were bad in both units. I opened the box up, took out the pump, dismantled it, got lost, got angry, put it back together and it worked. Lol. Just cheap POS units I guess but it got the job done.
