Party at Jim's House

"Halfway Wrapped" Avatar party at Jim Cameron's Malibu place, today. Good to get back together with crew mates, and meet wives and kids (my wife was busy elsewhere with family stuff, @%^#&^%!). Watched some of the in-progress stuff, which looks great even in its present not-anywhere-near-remotely-finished form (WETA has their work cut out for them...)

Beautiful weather for the party, and for the ride up and down PCH, and back.

Some days, I love living in Los Angeles.

Dude where was 2nd-Units invite???? Todays weather was so California!!!!!!! Karl feel free to P.M. anytime!

P.S. Any time your ready to show the world what the "Art Department" does give me a call! We will shoot a 2nd-Unit episode or 2.

I floated the idea to our production designer and she was amenable.

We're slammed this week, but on the present schedule I have two weeks to go. We'll see.

Mentioning PCH just got me homesick

Damn it

Cameron is a stud but his lack of production (pun) has pissed me off; this man did Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss, T2, Titanic and then just fell off the face of the planet

Bastard

Well, this being a halfway party for Avatar, I think he's rectifying that as we speak. :)

And Battle Angel is coming up, not too far behind.

Well, it's probably about two years behind.

Maybe three.

Four at the outside.

Definitely not more than five.

*sigh* we all just have to be patient.
