You might want to spend some time in the hardware section.

It's impossible to make any recommendations without you being much more specific about what you plan to do with the camera.

Hi, VJ Brennan

I Wanna get right stuff all the lens,Hardware or things that would help make a good music video

How can i get the lights to use for shhoting outdoors im new on this i dont know where to get the right things i need.

If you're shooting outdoors in daylight, then I'd recommend looking into reflectors rather than lights (because HMIs are really expensive).

Check www.evsonline.com call them and talk to Rush. He'll be able to help you.

what kind of lights i really need like light for all films or lights for any projects.

what kind of light should i use for a music video?
lite scene
dark scene
or focus on any lights

Really, Jaro978....you need to do a little homework before you start spending money. You can spend tons of dough on stuff you don't need, or leave out the important stuff for a specific application, because you didn't even know it existed. SPend a few days reading through different discussions on this site and you'll see the basics pretty easily.

That being said, I'd recommend a good tripod, first and foremost.

thanks, HorseFil

thank you for the link it gets me to where i need to buy.

HorseFilm what would you get for your camara? to shoot the best scene, the things that hollywood uses to shoot in all angles.

The camera, tapes, a tripod a microphone and lights. It's not possible to get more specific until you know more about what you want. Do you plan on moving shots? If so you can use a dolly, but if there isn't a way to use one in the place you will b shooting, than you can buy one, and not need it. You can get a steadicam jr for a few bucks, but do you NEED one? Will handheld do? I don't know, because I don't know what you are going for. Will you be shooting in a car? do you need a car rig? Will you be going for an anamorphic look? You should get a UV filter to protect the lens, but any other filter depends on the effect you want. Some guys swear by a mattebox, other guys shoot great without one. What lights you need depends entirely on where you are shooting and what effect you are going for. ...see what I mean?

VJBrennan Thank you for helpping me with this.
i think i will be shooting most of the time in clubs, concerts, daytimes music videos
i have the book for dvx100a but specificaly what the camara can do dose not explain to me much about lens. Do i Really need Matte Box if i am using anamorphic 16.9? If i am using anamorphic 16.9 is it really necessery to use matte box with anamorphic?

You need to educate yourself first....
Go to the dvx100 section and browse through the threads.
You'll learn a ton.

Absolutely - Sounds like you are fresh out of the gate here. Not a bad thing at all, everyone has to start.... It's better to know why you want or need something then to just ask "what do I need?"... What you need is research. Good luck

A mattebox does 2 things. It holds filters and acts as a shade. Whether you need one or not may be a matter of debate. Look through some posts about matte boxes.

Dakotapod, Hey is that Metta Box is For Sale Now?

In a couple weeks but I think you really should head the advise given above - Way too soon for such things. Next to the camera a good tripod is paramount. Then a good mic. Editing computer is critical... Lighting... Shoot some tape and learn and you will know what you want or need - Then you can get into toys.
