Particular Floating Dust/ Snow

Hello, i was wondering if anyone would be able to help, I was looking to create an effect with particular, you can see a short example here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5d4f1nyLgg at the end when the girl stands in the doorway, the snow is floating around, I was hoping to create a similar effect. You may have seen it before in movies where there is for example a really sunny green field with dust particles floating in the air that dip in and out of focus...

i have a preset for this type of effect in particular that could be tweaked but ive got to run being Chistmas eve and all. ill try to get you something after holidays in short though you just creat a large generation area with 0 or little gravity, and an intersting turbulance field using the particles of your choice, and as many as you like for generation. have it use the camera comp and depth of field for easir synch with the rest of your comp. its really easy one you get a basic feel for the turbulance field and other physics settings in particular.

yeah this effect is super easy with particular. have you done custom particle shapes? really makes snow look cooler than just dots. also newest version 1.5 does DOF rendering to get that in and out of focus thing you like.
