Parabolic Test

I bought three different parabolic softboxes for my Godox 150.
1. 34" NiceFoto
2. 20" EZglow
3. 25" EZglow shallow
4. 36" umbrella (shoot through)

I thought it would be fun to see if anyone can identify them. The setup was one mono light at 3' and silver collapsible reflector as the fill. The images look grainy due to website compression.

You aced the exam!. The only one you got wrong was 6 that was the shallow 25. One thing I didn't mention they come with 2 layers of diffusion and the ez glow has a reflector plate, although the effect of the reflector is unnoticeable when diffusion is in front of it. It's meant to create the contrast look of a beauty dish and the light needs to be feathered. There is a large variation of looks you can achieve with the same soft box. For example if I moved the bounce fill farther away you would get darker shadows, moving the key further away, or removing the layers of diffusion. I didn't even test with the egg crates on. I'm really happy with now being able to control the light to my liking, where as before with my panels I could do very little.
