Paparazzi lightbulb effect

Anybody know how to do a quick paparazzi lightbulb effect in Final Cut Pro or Motion? I'm trying to composite that effect over a shot of a celebrity pulling up in a nice car. I've got a student film due tonight and would really appreciate any help with this. Thanks.

What sort of effect? Just a bright flash? You can put a cut where the flash goes, and use the Dip to Color Disolve to do it. You can adjust opaicty and such with it.

Or did you need a flash from a specific point in the image?
