Apologies - I know there's a million tonnes of info on this priceless site, but time is against me.

Got my SgPro & follow focus on monday, got a Nikkor 50mm 1.4 on wednesday & had about 35 minutes of playing about - now I find I'm wanted to shoot TOMORROW morning! I know I've so far only got the one lens, but I really want to use it - any last second tips guys?

Use a good monitor. Don't tape down the focus ring, after you focus the ground glass and then focus on the talent, tweak the focus on the camera again. Makes a world of difference especially when you start to switch between lenses as you get them.
