thanks,
Panaview started out a years ago doing custom orders of Schotts protective optical flats at 5x5" & 6x6" (P type or P size as they where alled) at a minimum of 10 pieces for rental house's and production companies that shot mostly stunts and unfavorable conditions like sand ,smoke ,dust- then the Prosumer thing happened with video and they started to make 4x4 & 4x5.65 .
I bought one they look very good (schott glass) but I'v only found them on Ebay there web sites under construction . I wrote them apparently they are going to make ND's, .3 .6 .9's followed by a POLARIZER and a SOFT.
I hope that helps.

I've got one. No problams with it. I'll probably grab a set of NDs, etc. when they're available.

I just received mine, a 4x4 schott clear filter, yesterday. Geez, the turnaround was incredible. Panaview asks for positive feedback since the company is starting out. They seem to be interested in making Schott glass filters available at a more reasonable price, so perhaps they're starting out by offering filters at a lower rate? I purchased one at Buy It Now at $49, but I saw where people had purchased in the 30's..

The filter arrived in a puffy brown envelope and was insured. Inside was one nice heavy piece of glass, my first 4x4 filter. Looking through the thick part from one end through to the other, it's Schott - a very clear, white glass, unlike other filters I had had where you can see the slight green tint (with clear filters). The question: Can't video filmers pop white balance and have any very slight green tint adjusted? Whatever the answer is, holy jimoly, Schott glass for $50, when you generally can't get regular glass - let alone, resin filters - for the same price. I would suggest that if you just want a clear filter in front of your gear, or want to fart around with some gel or whatever to soft-focus a shot, just get one. If you need UV or skylight type material, just wait and see whether the company decides to make other filters available. The company seems very promising. I hope they become a formidable company with affordable alternatives.
